Overview
Please note the following terms regarding our return policy:
- No Refunds: All sales are final. We do not offer refunds on any products due to their custom nature.
- No Exchanges: We do not accept exchanges for any items purchased.
- Regarding Warranties: All products are sold “as is” and “where is,” with no warranties implied or expressed. Seiko does not provide warranties on their movements for watchmakers. With that said if there are problems with our watches we will address them on a case-by-case basis.
We cannot accept returns on our watches due to the inability to determine if any damage occurred from misuse, neglect, or during transit. We do not take watches back if you change your mind on them for whatever reason. Buyers are responsible for double checking that their shipping addresses are correct during the checkout process – we are not responsible if it gets sent to the wrong address.
We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages, if you are concerned about receiving the package please choose signature confirmation upon delivery and/or ask us about additional insurance.
For commissioned builds or for watches with parts not-on-hand, a wait time is required for parts to be sourced and delivered to us. We can provide estimated timelines for when parts arrive but due to postage strikes, delivery issues, and other extraneous factors there may be delays that are out of our control. Once a commissioned order is placed, parts are ordered immediately – we cannot cancel your order or refund you. Parts substitutions may be possible for commissioned orders – additional fees may be charged before we order in the replacement parts.
We check over and test all our watches prior to being sent out to ensure they are running excellent. We assemble our watches with brand new components. Parts may not always be 100% perfect/mint condition – surfaces may have minor scratches or other imperfections from the manufacturing process or due to transit. Gold colored parts are not always perfect and may be missing from areas due to friction or manufacturing – this is more evident on bracelets/clasps and we have no control over this.
There are many variants to dials, we will choose the style that matches the closest for the build as shown in the listing and may reach out to you with dial options to confirm prior to assembly. We do our best to match lume color between dial indices and hands, subject to parts availability during the time of the build.
Water resistance ratings are provided by the case manufacturers, however we always recommend avoiding water/humidity where possible. Our view is that mod watches are considered “splash-proof” and we strongly do not recommend swimming or submerging. Watches with clear/exhibition casebacks have reduced water resistance. Dress style watches have reduced water resistance. We cannot assist clients if they experience water damage and are not responsible for water damage related issues. Avoid water as best as you can and you won’t run into issues down the line.
NH-series timekeeping accuracy have high positional variance – timing is affected by the position/orientation of the watch. Standard NH series movements are rated for -20 to +40 seconds per day. Our watches do get their accuracy checked with a timegrapher, and in most cases they are much more accurate than the standard allowance. Please ensure automatic watches get wound by rotating the crown clockwise at least 20 times if there is no power in the reserve, otherwise the watch will not hold time well. We recommend purchasing a demagnetizer if you experience your watch running too fast or too slow outside of the normal parameters.
By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and agree to these terms. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to us before placing an order. Thank you for your understanding!
Watch Care Guidelines
To preserve the lifespan of your watch and ensure it runs smoothly, please follow these care guidelines:
- Wear Regularly: Wearing your watch often helps maintain its movement and overall functionality.
- Keep Crowns Tight: Always ensure that the screw-down crowns are securely tightened to protect against dust and moisture.
- Avoid Prolonged Submersion: Refrain from swimming or submerging the watch for extended periods to prevent potential damage.
- Avoid High Humidity Areas: Keep your watch away from high humidity environments to avoid moisture buildup.
By following these simple steps, you can enjoy your watch for many years to come. Thank you for your attention!
Information Regarding Servicing
Should your watch require servicing/attention a fee will be charged based on the work that needs to be done as well as costs associated with shipping/parts required. The good news is that having us service your watch will be substantially cheaper than the typical servicing from other watchmakers and OEMs.
We will only offer servicing for watches we assembled for our clients, we do not service or modify pre-existing watches purchased elsewhere.
